Introduction
In this workshop, we are inventing, designing, imagining and exploring California in order to create cultural artifacts which reflect its many fantastic representations. We touch upon various areas of study including history, psycho-geography, mapping, the science of earthquakes, film, choreography, music, interactive technology, virtual representation, and horizon thinking. We are constructing a fictitious world which encapsulates our created vision of California. The presentation of the final installation will be held on December 5th, 2008.
